Forward Deployed Consultant
About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Consultant, you will work directly with enterprise leaders to define, prioritize, and operationalize their AI transformation. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, data, and agentic AI systems translating ambiguity into structured opportunities and measurable outcomes. This is not a traditional consulting role. You will be embedded in the customer’s environment, owning the path from problem definition to deployed solution.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with C-level stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities across functions (CX, GTM, operations, HCM, etc.)
Lead AI strategy engagements, including use case discovery, prioritization frameworks, and roadmap definition
Translate business problems into clear functional requirements and system-level thinking
Act as a bridge between business and engineering, working closely with Forward Deployed Engineers and AI teams
Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and executive readouts with clarity and conviction
Develop business cases, ROI models, and value articulation frameworks for AI investments
Support solution shaping ensuring what gets built aligns with real-world workflows and enterprise constraints
Bring structure to ambiguity - define problems, not just respond to them
Qualifications
Required:
4–8 years in strategy consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise advisory roles
Strong background in business analysis (BA), requirements gathering, and process mapping
Experience working with enterprise systems (CRM, CDP, ERP, CX platforms, etc.)
Ability to move between executive conversations and detailed functional breakdowns
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts; don’t have to be hands-on, but need strong conceptual grounding
Exceptional communication, structured thinking, clear articulation, executive presence
Preferred:
Experience working on AI or data-driven transformation programs
Familiarity with agentic systems, automation, or advanced analytics use cases
Exposure to industries such as Retail, CPG, Healthcare, or Technology
Experience building ROI models or value engineering frameworks
Prior experience working in embedded or client-facing delivery roles
