Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Agentic AI Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between our innovative AI capabilities and client success. You'll spend significant time on-site with enterprise customers, understanding their unique challenges and architecting autonomous AI systems that solve real-world problems. This role combines deep technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, requiring you to translate complex AI concepts into business value while hands-on building and deploying production-ready agentic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner directly with C-level executives and technical teams at enterprise clients to identify AI automation opportunities
Design and develop multi-agent AI systems using state-of-the-art LLMs, reinforcement learning, and autonomous decision-making frameworks
Build robust AI agent orchestration platforms that can operate reliably in production environments
Lead technical workshops and proof-of-concept implementations on-site at client locations
Collaborate with our product team to influence the development of our core agentic AI platform based on real-world deployment insights
Mentor client engineering teams on AI agent best practices and implementation strategies
Qualifications
Required:
4+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python/JavaScript proficiency
2+ years hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or autonomous systems development
Experience with modern AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks)
Proven track record deploying ML/AI systems in production environments
Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel 50-75% to client sites
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related technical field
Experience with reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, or autonomous decision-making
Background in enterprise software consulting or customer-facing technical roles
Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, and AI system observability
Experience with vector databases, embedding models, and RAG architectures
Previous work in fintech, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
